Registration can change without expiring.
A nurse can be registered on Monday and carrying a condition on Friday, with the same
expiry date on the same certificate. Merrivale checks the register nightly for every
worker rostered in the next fourteen days, so a change is caught by the system rather
than by a provider.
Marisol has worked eleven of the last fourteen nights.
Every shift was legal, every break was correct, and Merrivale is still the wrong agency to
offer her a twelfth. The flag is not a compliance breach. It is a judgement the consultant
should be making with the numbers in front of them.
