Back book

1,104 registered workers who have not worked a shift in 90 days. Every one is already compliant-ish, already trained, already known.

Three hundred and eighteen people completed an onboarding process and never worked. Wrenmark paid to attract them, a consultant spent an hour with each, compliance chased their documents — and then nobody rang. Meanwhile the desk is spending £1,840 a head attracting new ones.

The top two causes are both Wrenmark's doing. A worker whose DBS lapsed simply stopped appearing on lists and was never told. A worker who onboarded and was never called assumed there was no work.

Forty-one dormant registered nurses. Ravensworth's eligible pool is 384 and its fill rate is 66%. Waking eleven of these forty-one would do more for that fill rate than a month of advertising.

Three messages and a call, then the worker is rested for six months. A staffing agency that texts dormant workers every week is not re-engaging them, it is training them to ignore it.
